Asus officially announced Zenfone 2 for India. The phone was unveiled at an event in Delhi today. Asus made official four Zenfone 2 variants for Indian customers including three ZE551ML and One ZE550ML models. There is no ZE500CL model so budget users have option other than to go for ZE550ML, which offers HD display/1.8GHz Intel Z3560 SoC/2GB RAM/16 GB configuration.

- ZE551ML 1080p/2.3GHz Z3580 SoC/4GB/64GB – INR 22999
- ZE551ML 1080p/2.3GHz Z3580 SoC/4GB/32GB – INR 19999
- ZE551ML 1080p/1.8GHz Z3560 SoC/2GB/16GB – INR 14999
- ZE550ML 720p/1.8GHz Z3560 SoC/2GB/16GB – INR 12999
Asus officially confirmed that Zenfone 2 will be available for sale via Flipkart as well as Asus's Exclusive stores across the country. Therefore this time users in India can buy the handset from but online as well as offline stores, but only from Asus's exclusive outlets
