The good news is finally here, on April 7 Lenovo has officially announced A7000 mid-range phablet in India. Packing impressive specs in this price range, the Lenovo A7000 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels
resolution, powered by 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752m Octa-core
processor, the new handset has a 64-bit enabled chipset to maximize
Lollipop’s 64-bit capabilities. The CPU comes paired with ARM Mali-T760MP2
GPU to offer high end graphics. The CPU has been
backed up by an impressive 2GB of RAM. The device will feature 8GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB through a microSD cardslot. The device runs on Android 5.0
Lollipop out of the box with Vibe UI on top.
On the camera front, the device comes with 8MP AF rear shooter, complimented by BSI sensor for improved low-light images. On the front, a 5MP camera will be more than enough for capturing great selfies. The
device offers 4G LTE (FDD bands 1,3, 7, 20 & TDD Band 40), Dual
Micro SIM card slots, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. A removable 2900mAh
Li-Po battery claiming 264 hours of standby time and up to 16
hours of talk time on 3G and 39 hours talktime on 2G will also come along with the device. The handset weighs 140
grams and measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.9mm.
The smartphone will go on sale exclusively at Flipkart through a Flash sale method, and will be available in two color options – Onxy Black and
Pearl White. The registrations for the device has already begun which commenced on April 15th. Interested
