Sony has officially announced the Xperia Z4
in its Japan event and the image suggests that it is nothing more than an incremental update for its predecessor.
The Xperia Z4 offers an 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x
1080 pixels resolution, is powered by Qualcomm
Snapdragon 810 chip with 3GB RAM onboard, an Adreno 430 GPU along with 32GB internal storage
which is expandable through a microSD slot upto 128GB and runs on
Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sony UI on top.
On the camera front it has a 20.7MP rear shooter with LED flash and a 5.1MP front shooter with wide 25mm lens.
The device offers 4G LTE, Single Nano SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac,
Bluetooth v4.1 with A2DP, GPS with a-GPS, GLONASS, NFC. It packs 2930mAh
battery with STAMINA mode, which claims to deliver 17 hours of talk time on 3G and is available in four color options – Black, White, Copper and Aqua
Green.
